About the Role
Protect enterprise applications across cloud, SaaS and on-premise platforms.

This is a hands-on Application Security role focused on protecting a diverse and evolving application environment.

In this role, you’ll apply security standards, manage application security configurations, and support secure application design and operation.

This role suits someone who enjoys being close to the technology, balancing security control, usability and compliance in a real-world enterprise environment.

What you’ll be responsible for

  • Apply and maintain application security baselines, secure configuration standards and hardening controls across enterprise, SaaS and on-prem applications
  • Administer application security controls, including access management, encryption, logging, monitoring and privileged access management
  • Review application security configurations, identify risks and coordinate remediation activities
  • Provide practical security guidance to system owners, supporting secure onboarding, changes and offboarding
  • Maintain application security inventories, risk registers and assurance documentation, and support audits, design reviews and release readiness

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in application security across enterprise, cloud and SaaS environments
  • Strong understanding of secure application design, configuration and operational security, including authentication, authorisation, vulnerability management and data protection
  • Proven ability to apply security standards, organisational policies and regulatory requirements, and assess risk pragmatically
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, risk-based advice

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience
